This is an increasingly popular alternative steak, from the shoulder of the animal, as it offers good value. It's tender with a moderate beef flavour and takes to marinades really well. The best way to enjoy this steak is rare or medium rare.

Our flat iron steaks are sourced from Dalachy Farm in Aberdour. Their cattle are raised under the Farm Assured Scotch Beef scheme ensuring great time and care has been given to their welfare. The meat is matured for a minimum of 21 days to ensure great flavour and texture.
