To prevent the delicate pastry being destroyed in transit, your steak pie will come to you with the meat filling cooked and frozen in the pastry base. You will also be sent a frozen pastry lid which you will need to attach and glaze with egg.
Your steak pie will then need to be oven cooked by you until the pastry is crisp and golden and the meat filling is piping hot.
